Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & StrategyDrive warehouse performance in fulfillment, receiving, and returns throughput, ensuring on-time and accurate execution.
Lead and develop a high-functioning warehouse supervisory team, ensuring they have the skills and tools to scale operations and drive profitable growth.Implement company and facility best practices to improve productivity and accuracy.Act as the primary liaison between customers, warehouse operations, support teams and corporate leadership, providing strategic direction and leadership in complex situations.Facility Financial & Performance ManagementOptimize labor, processes, vendor agreements, and facility costs to achieve gross margin targets.
Establish and monitor budget adherence for warehouse operations, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.Inventory Management & StabilityLeverage technology-driven cycle counting, audits, and reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
Implement and maintain best practices for inventory control, including FIFO (First In, First Out), location accuracy, and warehouse slotting optimization.Work closely with Receiving and Inventory teams to ensure accurate inbound processes and proper stock placement to prevent fulfillment delays.Collaborate with the cross functional teams to resolve inventory-related discrepancies and provide real-time visibility to clients through WMS reporting.Customer Experience & Service LevelsEnhance customer satisfaction and NPS by exceeding SLA expectations.
Ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time, meeting SLA commitments.Support customer onboarding and facility tours, ensuring warehouse operations align with client needs.Act as the primary problem solver for customer escalations, service disruptions, or operational challenges.Workforce Management & CultureFoster a strong warehouse culture and improve the Employee NPS, ensuring engagement and retention of warehouse staff.
Hire, mentor, train, and develop warehouse personnel, ensuring proper succession planning, talent management, and career progression.Manage and optimize workforce scheduling, including shift planning, attendance tracking, and labor allocation.Foster trust, accountability, and continuous improvement to reinforce company values and drive employee engagement.Technology, Compliance & SafetyEnforce OSHA and local safety standards through regular audits, safety meetings, and equipment inspections to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
Utilize WMS, Google / Microsoft Suite, and data analytics to enhance inventory visibility, warehouse performance tracking, and operational decision-making.Maintain facility security and organization to ensure compliance with safety protocols and protect warehouse assets.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Manager or an equivalent position with corresponding responsibilities.A minimum of 10 years of industry experience.Demonstrated experience in leading growth and scaling operations, emphasizing a preference for candidates who have hands-on experience in building systems from the ground up. Schedule : This is a full-time position scheduled to work Monday-Friday 7am to 4pm, subject to change by business demands.Location : This position is located in the NE Denver area. This position is not eligible for remote work.Compensation
