Outside Sales Representative – Central Indiana Territory – Industrial Packaging

After 13 years our current Central Indiana Territory Sales Representative will be retiring in May. We are looking for someone who will be responsible for taking over the established Indianapolis territory where you will contact existing customer accounts in person and solicit NEW businesses by discussing current needs and asking if you can quote them on our shipping and packaging materials.

The Outside Sales Representative will receive:

· Salary base plus commission (currently at combined $74,000 and rising)

Requirements

You will need a positive attitude and self-motivation, good math skills, and need to be ambitious and dependable. A good driving record, a valid state driver’s license, and dependable transportation are required. There are required minimums to be maintained on your personal auto insurance coverage. You cannot be bound by a non-compete contract in the packaging industry. You will be required to sign an Employment Contract. We do a background check as well as drug testing. Other requirements for the Outside Sales Representative include:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Being well organized

· Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple ongoing accounts at once

· Bringing positive and enthusiastic attitude to the role every day

· Familiarity with an Apple iPad & iPhone, Microsoft Office apps, and Microsoft OneDrive is a plus.

Company Info

SHIP-PAQ opened in 1987 with 3,500 sq ft and a small capital investment for the office, warehouse, and inventory. In 1996 the company purchased 7.08 acres in Fairfield, Ohio, and relocated into a 46,500 sq ft facility. Expansion land was available on the acreage and in late 2018 the facility space was expanded to 93,500 sq ft. SHIP-PAQ is a prominent distributor of packaging materials targeting all aspects of business from manufacturing to distribution. We also have our in-house Printing and Converting Departments for printing tape and labels as well as converting foam and bubble products into custom sizes and perf.
