Role Description:

General Manager – Palisades Park, NJ Fulfillment Center

Shipdudes is seeking a dedicated General Manager to lead our Palisades Park, NJ fulfillment center. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and cultivate a positive workplace culture while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction and seamless departmental performance.

We’re looking for someone with a hands-on approach who is committed to driving growth. You’ll play a key role in expanding the business by implementing strategies that boost productivity and help the company achieve its revenue goals.

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Fulfillment Operations and offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on our success.

What you’ll do:

• Direct several operational aspects including fulfillment operations, customer service, and human resources.

• Manage performance KPIs, identify and track key metrics, and plan continuous improvement efforts for your facility.

• Partner with merchant care to design and improve our merchant experience.

• Use data-driven reports and analyses to identify avenues for continuous improvement and propose solutions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.

• Hire, train, coach, and motivate managers and associates in your facility; you will be responsible for setting and managing the team’s goals.

• Ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization and enforce safety standards and procedures are followed in compliance with legal requirements.

• Share knowledge with other locations and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs.

• Comply with all food safety and compliance policies and regulations.

• Other responsibilities as needed.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in warehousing or e-commerce environments, with at least 1-2 years of experience leading a wall-to-wall fulfillment operation.

• Experience managing an operational P&L.

• Proven experience in the Logistics, Supply Chain, or E-Commerce industries is required.

• Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management, or a related field, preferred.

• Proven ability to take ownership and drive results.

• Demonstrated history of responsible, ethical, and honest behavior in previous roles.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, and Excel.

• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Shipdudes believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay-for-performance approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000. In addition to base salary, this role includes the opportunity to be eligible for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on Company's plans and in accordance with Company’s policies.
