What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIRECTOR OF TREASURY position at ShipIt?
ShipIt, shipping 2.7 million orders a year, is here to fulfill, meet, and exceed customer expectations.
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Director of Treasury to join our shipping team in Hurricane, Utah. The Director of Treasury will be responsible for ensuring all financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you will do:
- Accurately manage cash and income through well-coordinated automation
- Process all payments, invoices, and bills on-time and without error
- Make sure creditors are pleased, team members are properly paid on time, and assets are fully accounted for
- Handle all cash within ShipIt
- Oversee the Department of Income, Disbursements, and Assets & Material
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure that production is occurring at a high-quality
- Verify that all payments have been processed successfully
- Ensure all bills owed by ShipIt are obtained and any missing bills are found
- Ensure all fees are monitored and factored into ShipIt’s total income; these rates and fees should be negotiated to benefit the company and maximize our income
- Ensure all assets & materials are accounted for and recorded correctly
- Keep all records and audits accurate and up-to-date
- Compile commission numbers and send them to payroll for their direct reports
What you must bring:
- Equipped with a strong understanding of financial principles
- Experience with accounting and management
- Knowledge of market trends and economic indicators
- Ability to verify and handle bills
- Trustworthy and reliable with handling money
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with all compliance needs and expectations
- Ability to understand financial viability for the company and as a whole
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Persistence to meet each goal that is set with no compromise
- Experience with Quickbooks, E-file cabinet, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Pay: $56,000 per year
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
