ShipIt, shipping 2.7 million orders a year, is here to fulfill, meet, and exceed customer expectations.
We are looking for an Equipment Operations and Maintenance Manager located at our facility in Hurricane, Utah. The Equipment Operations and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for keeping our equipment operational, resulting in a non-stop and efficient shipping line.
What you will do :
Ensure all machinery is regularly cleaned and inspected
Ensure all team members are implementing Lockout Tagout Procedures
Monitor parts and inventory
Ensure on-hand parts inventory exceeds the minimum required maintenance and contingency threshold
Ensure all shipping equipment is kept operational
Keep an updated database on all of the machine's information, defective units, and final products
Ensure all team members are adhering to safety regulations
Inspect the line, looking for any issues, problems, slows, or stops
Implement practices in order to achieve section and department goals
What we prefer you to bring :
Strong ability to use hand and power tools
Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly
In-depth knowledge of machinery, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
Commitment to adhering to and enforcing safety regulations and procedures
Professionalism in both appearance and interactions with others
Ability to take problems and quickly find a solution to them
Promptness in handling tasks
Attention to detail
Organizational skills to run things in the most efficient way possible
Ability to maintain a schedule and implement plans to fulfillment
Ability to handle stress and high-pressure situations well

Pay : $50,000 to $55,000 per year
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.
