ShipIt, shipping 4.5 million orders a year, is here to fulfill, meet, and exceed customer expectations.
We are looking for a Shipping Operations Manager located in Hurricane, Utah to ensure that orders are standardly processed, packaged, verified, and shipped out on time.
What you will do :
Maintain relationships with company supply vendors and carrier contacts
Create and implement process changes on the Shipping Program to increase efficiency and automation process
Research the latest shipping technologies in shipping logistic companies, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and OMS (Order Management Systems), to keep the most efficient process available and to prepare for future growth
Verify that lot codes are tracked to the orders shipped
Keeping shipping operations within budget
Review OSHA checklists
Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external terminals (such as warehouse workers, Manufacturing Executives, carriers, software providers, etc.)
Negotiate better pricing
Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
Create and run programs
Analyze all tools and trackers and ensure they are all updated weekly
Inspect the line, looking for any issues, problems, slows, or stops
Analyze the statistics of each team member and detect their strengths and weaknesses
Set and successfully achieve department goals

Experience in the shipping industry

Professional in both appearance and interactions with others
Can promptly handle tasks and delegate duties
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to give trainings on small scales and big scales
Very detail-oriented and can see the big picture
Able to maintain a schedule and implement plans to fulfillment
High energy and passionate about helping those around them succeed
Able to take problems and quickly find solutions to them
Equipped with a self-employed mentality
Proficient in Google Workspaces
Pay : $54K Bonus
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
