Job Description: As a Fryer at Shipley Do-Nuts, you’ll play a vital role in creating our mouth-watering doughnuts that our customers love. You’ll be responsible for frying doughnuts to perfection, ensuring proper cooking times, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fry doughnuts according to the shop’s recipes and standards.
- Monitor cooking temperatures and times to ensure the quality of doughnuts.
- Ensure the fryer and kitchen equipment are clean, safe, and operating properly.
- Assist in preparing doughnut dough and other ingredients as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety regulations.
- Help with other tasks in the kitchen or back-of-house, front-of-house when needed, including making doughnuts, kolaches, packaging, glazing.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and food safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food production environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $14.00 - $19.50 per hour
