As a Student Housing Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring students have a well-managed living environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration/CFO, you are responsible for maximizing occupancy, maintaining financial accountability, and fostering strong tenant relationships in the Foundation’s off-campus housing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Relations & Leasing: Manage lease-ups, move-in/move-out processes, and oversee security deposit disbursements.
- Financial Oversight: Track rental payments, maintain accurate records in RentManager, and handle past-due collections.
- Property Management: Ensure maintenance requests are completed promptly and enforce policies regarding damages and lease infractions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct surveys on local rental rates to keep the Foundation competitive.
- Administrative Excellence: Draft communications, maintain records, and manage tenant correspondence.
- Community Engagement: Act as a bridge between tenants and staff, ensuring satisfaction and a positive living environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively.
- Ability to analyze issues and develop creative solutions.
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Experience
- Experience in property management and leasing preferred
- Experience in marketing/sales is advantageous
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend hours as required

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
