What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Mathematics Instructor position at Shippensburg University?
The Department of Mathematics at Shippensburg University invites applications for either full-time (12 credits/semester) or part-time temporary teaching positions starting in the fall 2025 semester.
Responsibilities: Teach general mathematics courses such as algebra, precalculus, and introductory statistics. Teaching assignments may include nights. In addition, faculty members are expected to perform other duties as assigned in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a master’s degree in a mathematical science or mathematics education, and some experience teaching mathematics.
