Responsibilities
- Lead technical initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to innovate and deliver new features.
- Maintain and enhance the quality and stability of our existing product within established systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster their professional development.
- Collaborate with technical operations teams to swiftly resolve customer-impacting issues.
- Ensure transparent communication on progress with remote team members.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent field.
- 5 years of commercial software development experience with a strong background in full-stack development using Node.js and React.js.
- Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, and GraphQL, with a focus on test-driven development and adherence to coding standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and problem-solving across system-wide challenges.
- Thrives in dynamic, rapidly growing environments and navigates ambiguity with a positive attitude.
- Proven ability to serve as a technical lead, guiding teams and projects to success
- Startup or small company environments
- GraphQL, AWS, Rails, SaaS, or high-traffic environments
