Job Description:
The Operations and Logistics Coordinator at Shipperz Inc. will manage the operational and logistical aspects of our shipping services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of our shipping operations, combining strategic planning, customer service, and logistics management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle initial customer interactions, collecting information such as pickup and drop-off locations, vehicle type, and scheduling.
- Provide and follow up on quotes for shipping services.
- Schedule pickups, and coordinate with drivers.
- Manage driver qualifications, verifying insurance, equipment, and reputation.
- Oversee vehicle pickups and deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle various administrative tasks, including dealing with insurance claims and ensuring compliance with relevant taxes and fees.
- Manage payments to drivers and accurate transaction entries in accounting software.
- Maintain communication with customers and drivers, ensuring a high level of service throughout the transport process.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, customer service, or a similar field.
- Must possess excellent communication abilities and phone presence, including clear and effective written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic Computer and phone skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrates exceptional resilience and composure, particularly under pressure, with a proven ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor during challenging customer interactions.
- Skilled at navigating ambiguity and finding effective solutions in a dynamic environment, showing a high level of adaptability and problem-solving prowess.
- Comfortable with the versatile nature of working in a small company setting, ready to wear multiple hats and contribute beyond defined roles to ensure overall success and growth.

- Basic understanding of vehicle types and shipping requirements.
