We are currently looking for an Account Manager, preferably with experience in the event space, to manage clients, collaborate on our large-scale events and experiential programs, and guide internal teams to anticipate and meet client goals and objectives.
This is a hybrid role with currently one day a week in-office at our Aventura office location.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Guide our clients through the strategic and creative needs of the experiential and event programs.
Forge healthy and strong partnerships with clients as well as internally
Balance the demands of the clients with the realities of the production and creative teams and other internal stakeholders, managing project timelines against internal bandwidth and client expectations
Push through the client's strategic and creative needs and mitigate any issues that will arise.
Communicate budget implications timely and effectively with client as well as internal teams.
Manage all reporting about the health of customers' accounts.
Build trust and respect that can withstand robust healthy discussion.
Work collaboratively with Production and Design on the development in early stages of a project.
Working intimately with Lead Producer and Creative teams in meeting client expectations of execution.
Prepare and manage project client timelines, briefs, decks, and notes in tandem with Production, Creative, and Strategic stakeholders.
Engage in and support the development process in tandem with the Pre-Sale team to review, process, build, create, and deliver business-winning proposals.
Train, mentor, and manage junior members of the team on project related work.
Helping the team achieve the job on time and within budget is required.
When relevant or necessary, support the Production team with production related execution on-site, noting that priority is given to client needs / assessment of client expectations against execution of project on-site.
Demonstrate leadership, expertise, management, and consultation skills when conducting business with Clients, Vendors and Shiraz Creative team members.
Empower team members through efficient delegation.
Collaborate with project leadership on responsibilities / deadlines to be delegated.
Be a resource for production questions on execution of events and ideas.
Collaborate with Directors on client and partner communication, challenges, and solutions.
Required Skills, Training, and Qualifications
5-7 (Sr.)Years of Account Management and / or Event Production with high touch interactions with key client stakeholders
Highly attuned attention to detail & and ability to multi-task
Masterful organizational, communication, time management and prioritization skills.
Experience in agency and / or consumer goods business.
Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to identify issues and provide / execute practical solutions.
Effectively manage a high volume of work and consistently provide a high quality of work output.
Exhibit strong critical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Keen awareness of event and experiential industry activity; ability to create and develop out of the box events.
Knowledge of design and ability to clearly communicate ideas to client.
Ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
Must be willing and able to work nonstandard work hours and / or weekends / holidays as required.
Role requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds and / or be on their feet for multiple hours.
Position may require travel time of up to 50%
Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office 365, Google (Sheets, Slides), Slack, Monday
Knowledge of working with complex timelines / Gantt charts.
Able to navigate Adobe Suite, as necessary
