Job Summary : The Fabrication and Installation Lead will play a critical role in leading the fabrication of high-quality awnings and overseeing the installation of both awnings and signs. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in awning production, on-site installation, and construction leadership. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience as a construction lead or superintendent, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards for quality and safety.Key Responsibilities : Awning Fabrication : Production Management : Lead the fabrication of custom awnings, including cutting, welding, sewing, and assembling materials like fabric, metal, and vinyl.Quality Control : Ensure all fabricated products meet quality standards through regular inspections.Materials Management : Maintain inventory and order necessary materials to support continuous workflow.Sign & Awning Installation : Installation Management : Coordinate and execute on-site installations of awnings and signage, ensuring compliance with codes, safety standards, and client specifications.Site Preparation : Conduct surveys, take measurements, and prepare installation locations.Equipment Operation : Safely operate installation equipment.Leadership & Safety : Construction Leadership : Leverage previous experience as a construction lead or superintendent to manage teams, set timelines, and oversee project site management.Team Supervision : Mentor and supervise a team of fabricators and installers, providing training to support skill development and project success.Safety Compliance : Promote safety as a top priority by enforcing OSHA protocols and best practices, conducting regular training sessions.Qualifications : Experience : 5 years in construction fabrication or installation role, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Previous experience as a construction lead or superintendent is required.Technical Expertise : Proficient in fabrication techniques, including metalwork and assembly.
