Job Summary :
The Senior Technical Analyst, IT Systems provides leadership, organization, and direction to project implementation teams on the design and execution of the regional and global business solutions. They will aid warehouse operations and IT support team as a Tier 2 / 3 support resource when advanced knowledge of the code base, application architecture, or integration is required and own relationships with system administrators, infrastructure, DBA's and outside vendors as it relates to application health and monitoring.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Act as internal SME regarding the technical capabilities of Shiseido's WMS (ex. BlueYonder) as well as all other connected systems
- Oversee and execute development of new code and modifications of existing code within BlueYonder WMS as part of Regional and Global projects, enhancements, and business critical issues
- Responsible for the maintenance of interfaces between BlueYonder WMS and SAP (Enterprise System) as well as peripheral applications
- Assists Shiseido Project Manager(s) in planning efforts and coordination of regional global I.T. project initiatives
- Estimates level of effort for implementation activities that are within the scope of the project and recommend appropriate role and / or resources to execute those tasks
- Asks appropriate questions to identify and assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture constraints, and potential risks or gaps to the solution
- Facilitates business process analysis, design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project.
- Technical lead responsible for the design and development of solutions based on functional specifications for modifications, change requests, interfaces, and reports
- Support overall health of the business applications and assist in performance of scheduled maintenance related to business application platforms as a liaison to the Shiseido Infrastructure and Network teams
- Identify opportunities to schedule / automate manual processes and improve proactive monitoring particularly in the areas of helpdesk ticket prevention, system stability, and network security
- Work with vendors and IT partners to tune the performance of business applications
- Offers mentorship and training of SAC IT Business Analysts and Software Developers
- Facilitate knowledge transfer of newly developed logic with technical and functional IT resources, Operations, and Training teams
