Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring rooms, public areas, and facilities are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor housekeeping procedures and schedules to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to ensure optimal performance and exceptional guest service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness and operational standards.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including controlling expenses, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback related to housekeeping services, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for check-in and any maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
- Assist with recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations of housekeeping staff.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and housekeeping best practices, implementing new initiatives as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or similar managerial role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team effectively, provide training, and foster a positive work environment.
