Job Overview
The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for the development of an overall scheduling program that facilitates the work management process with the requirements to drive safety, efficiency, and reliability in all maintenance operations. This role will work closely with a cross-functional team.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop weekly schedules based on relevant work orders and available resources.
- Coordinate daily maintenance planning efforts between facilities, operations, supply chain, and QA.
- Facilitate meetings for the alignment of all maintenance and calibration tasks.
- Monitor and track schedules compliance.
- Report preventive and corrective maintenance work status.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance notifications with team leads.
- Update maintenance notifications and work orders as required.
- Coordinate monthly team meetings to provide feedback of existing job plans and discuss improvements.
- Adjust maintenance plans strategies as to ensuring workload management efficiency.
- Perform field audits and investigate work requirements.
- Assist with the development of necessary maintenance procedures.
- Generate and complete QMS change control records.
- Assist with spare parts inventory management efforts.
- Assist in compiling and updating data for KPIs.
- Review requests for master data uploads into the maintenance program.
- Assist in coordinating shutdown work activities.
- Provide training to team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor or associate degree in engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance scheduling role
- Must have experience working with CMMS systems, SAP ERP PM/EAM preferred
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance in pharmaceutical industries is preferred
- Technical knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, process automation, and controls
- Ability to communicate effectively across functional groups at all levels
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of cGMP standards
- Six Sigma methodology experience preferred
