Position Description Summary
Recreation Front Gate Attendants are responsible for the safe and successful operation of the front gate. This is a seasonal position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create a memorable experience for all Members and guests, continually providing excellent customer service with a high level of professionalism
- Provide immediate attention to all Members and guests upon arrival / check-in
- Assist all Members with any requests
- Refer to each Member by name at least three times during their stay
- Enforce all Club rules and policies in and around the aquatics area
- Respond to any emergencies accordingly
- Adhere to all health and sanitation codes and guidelines at all times
- Be knowledgeable about Club events, promotions, and general activities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the front gate area, adhering to all Club standards
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere, responding to all requests in a timely and professional manner
- Project an upbeat and positive attitude with a good work ethic at all times
- Advise management of any complaints as soon as they occur
- Complete all opening, side, & closing duties, as instructed
- Consistently adhere to state and local laws
- Be detail-oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Solve problems, work as a team, be a leader, and inspire happiness
- Operate within all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by the Club, and assist in the implementation of Shoals Club mandatory standards of operations.
- Responsible for all uniforms that are issued and being in uniform for work
Responsible for checking and scanning each person's Member or Guest Pass Membership Card and collecting towels.
