Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standardized Preventive Maintenance instructions for primary equipment.
- Develop recommended spare parts and inventory levels required for each asset type.
- Support installation of new/rebuilt equipment with early development of preventative maintenance plans
- Train site(s) on use of CMMS for planning, scheduling and inventory tools
- Become technical support representative for CMMS solutions.
- Evaluates new features, functionality and integration of tools within the CMMS system
- Owns building a network with site Engineering and Maintenance leadership to strengthen knowledge and capability through best practice sharing and development .
- Work closely with site operations teams to identify systemic problems and develop plans and procedures to minimize or eliminate issues.
- Provide advanced analytics of lost time across the group with the intent to minimize unplanned downtime.

- Ensure readiness of all facility equipment
- Maintain usage and cost records on utilities.
- Support effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs.
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
- Record and report completed repairs of items that require further attention.
- Complete Root Cause Investigations for the evaluation of mechanical failures. Provide technical recommendations for corrective actions, repairs and improvements. Implement and monitor recommended actions.
- In conjunction with Maintenance and Reliability Manager, review and prepare maintenance work procedures.
- Develop continuous improvement plans for improving efficiency, asset reliability and optimization of plant costs.
- Maintain and continually improve the mechanical integrity program to ensure the equipment does not fail in a way that will interrupt production.
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering or equivalent of 10 years experience
- Proven experience in CMMS deployment
- Working knowledge of maintenance programs and labor management
- Analytical thinking: the ability to think critically and logically, as well as the ability to work with large sets of data and make sense of them.
- Technical aptitude: a strong understanding of the systems, equipment, and processes at hand. This includes knowledge of the engineering principles and specific systems used at an organization.
- Problem-solving: the ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Communication: the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with others. This includes working with Strategic vendors and OBE site leaders.
- Project management: the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively including planning, scheduling, and organizing.
- Data management skills: the ability to use statistical analysis tools as well as the ability to interpret and communicate the results of the analysis.
- A continuous improvement mindset: identifying and implementing ways to continuously improve reliability.
- Safety-conscious: the ability to identify potential hazards and take the necessary steps to mitigate them.
