The Senior Accountant will support the accounting team with day-to-day tasks and contribute to the overall accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. In their role they will have an emphasis on inventory accounting and will assist with month-end close, effective application of controls and compliance with company policies and procedures and participation in cross-functional collaboration.

The Senior Accountant will support the accounting team with day-to-day tasks and contribute to the overall accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. Responsibilities
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and flux analyses across various accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory and other financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the monthly close process, including preparing adjusting journal entries.
- Identify and account for obsolete inventory, including analyzing slow-moving items, and collaborating with operations team to minimize impact of obsolete or solve moving inventory.
- Monitor and maintain controls around the Company’s cycle count process.
- Understand and comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Conduct ad-hoc reporting and special projects as requested
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing industry.
- Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
