About the Role - We are seeking a highly skilled and Strategic Manufacturing Footprint Leader to oversee the consolidation and optimization of our manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will have an background in lean with extensive experience with footprint and line moves in manufacturing operations. This role is critical in optimizing our manufacturing footprint, improving efficiency, and reducing costs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for consolidating manufacturing plants to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Project Management : Lead and manage consolidation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and HR, to ensure alignment and successful execution of consolidation plans.
- Risk Management : Assess and mitigate risks associated with plant consolidation, including supply chain disruptions, workforce impacts, and regulatory compliance.
- Performance Monitoring : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the progress and success of consolidation efforts and report regularly to senior management.
- Change Management : Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations and employees.
- Compliance : Ensure all consolidation activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications :
This is an on-site Role in Portland, TN
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with leading multiple footprint consolidation or similar projects. Background in facilities and maintenance a plus.
