SEASONAL POSITION STARTING IN MAY AND ENDING IN AUGUST
Reports to Director of Laundry
Job Summary – The general responsibility of Laundry Attendant is to perform the daily operations of the Laundry Department, such as loading and unloading commercial washers and dryers, folding linen, stocking linen on shelves, delivering linen, and assisting other departments when needed.
Summary of Essential Functions
- Laundry duties according to current laundry procedures.
- Loading and unloading washers and dryers, folding linen, stocking shelves with linen, and delivering and receiving linen.
- Washer and dryer maintenance.
- Linen closet cleanliness
- Laundry building cleanliness
- Accept all miscellaneous assignments from Director.

Job Related
- Experience in general laundry procedures preferred.
- Customer service preferred.
- Availability to work 30 hours per week.
- At least the age of 16 years old.
- Ability to organize, manage multiple tasks and details.
- Cognitive ability to identify and provide for our guest and employee related needs.
Physical
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and completely extend arms in all directions a minimum of 30 hours weekly to perform general laundry duties.
- Ability or strength to lift, carry, push or pull and load items onto a platform up to 4’high weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to abstain from use of tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, and controlled substances.
