Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Hand to join our team in redressing downhole fishing tools. This role involves working closely with various tools and equipment to support the assembly processes within our facility.
Duties
- Buffing and pressure washing our fishing tools upon return, after use
- Assembling and disassembling our fishing tools with our machines and equipment
- Remove and replace seals and O-rings inside our fishing tools
- Filling our fishing tools with oil and testing them with our machines and equipment to emulate proper function
- Painting completed fishing tools after reassembly to specific company detail
- Delivering fishing tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts for the movement of materials within the manufacturing facility.
Requirements
- Availability for on call deliveries and occasional out of state travels
- Driver’s license
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
