Description
Shodair is looking to add one full time Patient Accounting Specialists to our team! The Patient Accounting Specialist coordinates and facilitates patient medical billing and collection activities in assigned area(s). The scope of the work consists of, but is not limited to: claim submission, payment posting, collections, payer claims research, customer service, other accounts receivable, reporting.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Can analyze and interpret data
- Has experience in a medical office or hospital setting
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Can problem solve and escalate issues in a timely manner
- Has excellent computer skills

Requirements
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;
- Required education and experience—Requires high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Preferred education and experience—Bachelors Degree is preferred. Preferred candidates will have (3) years experience in a hospital or medical office setting.
