Shodair is looking to add a Teacher's Assistant to our amazing team of Educators! This position assists the Teacher in providing well-organized and smoothly functioning learning environment in accordance with the overall hospital mission and educational philosophy.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has experience in an educational setting
- Enjoys working with children
- Is organized and can make quick decisions
- Is flexible and can cover the classroom or run a lesson for the teacher when needed
- Is an effective communicator- both written and verbally

Requirements
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
- High School graduate or alternative
- Demonstrated proficiency of students diagnosed with mental illness.
- Requires Criminal Records Background Check.
