THE ROLE
How well do you work with policies? Are you a person with initiative and a sense of helping others? We are looking for a Benefits Coordinator who is eager to help others work directly with our Head of HR and work closely with the employees to provide the best benefits.
Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $27.00 DOE
THIS IS WHAT A DAY AT WORK MAY BE LIKE…
• Manage the enrollment and termination of medical plans and administer employee benefits programs.
• Coordinate HR procedures to initiate benefits and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Conduct benefits orientations, enrollments, claims processing, and self-billing insurance. Maintain status reports and pay changes in both digital and paper systems.
• Work with benefits brokers to coordinate year-end open enrollment efforts.
• Prepare and maintain employee files, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality, including benefit deductions or additions in the payroll system.
• Assist employees with health, dental, and life insurance enrollments, providing support and conducting information sessions.
• Plan and lead meetings to help employees understand benefits and incentive programs.
• Oversee and coordinate employee incentive programs.
• Verify monthly premium statements for group insurance policies, maintaining statistical data and resolving administrative issues with carriers.
• Assist in gathering statistics and information for the renewal process of health, life, and retirement plans.
• Other duties may apply.
ABOUT YOU…
• 4 years in benefits or related benefits administration
• Experience in Word, Excel, ADP, and other applicable database programs helpful.
• Ability to work with internal and cross functional departments to achieve set tasks.
• Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
