Cherry Picker Operator
SHOE SHOW, INC., the country’s largest privately held footwear retailer in business 64 years with more than 1,100 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join our team. This position is available at our Distribution Center, located at 2201 Trinity Church Rd in Concord, NC. Local candidates are encouraged to apply!
What you should know:
This individual will be part of a team that participates in all warehouse operations and activities. We will train and certify. The warehouse worker should be task-oriented, organized, and able to lift/move heavy objects as needed.
What you will do:
- Drive a cherry picker in order to move full cases and/or pallets of inventory as needed
- Will operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and reach lift
- Operate machinery in a timely and efficient manner
- Properly lift merchandise of various weights
- Move cases/pallets of inventory from various points throughout the DC as needed
- Physically and systematically relocate merchandise from receiving onto pallets for bulk storage
- Sort cases from conveyor in an accurate and timely manner
Software Applications:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Proficiency in inventory software
