Skilled Laborer

Job Summary

As a Skilled Laborer, you will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Duties

• Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading materials, digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
• Operate hand tools and power tools (such as Sawzalls, roto hammers, and jackhammers) safely and effectively.
• Assist in the assembly and installation of structures or equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while on the job site.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
• HAZWOPER Certification (or the ability to obtain one).

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction or manufacturing.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds).
• Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or similar fields is preferred but not required.
