What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Sales Specialist position at Shoemaker Equipment Supply?
Shoemaker Equipment Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Professional to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. Primary area of product sales is Bobcat Equipment, Ag Tractors, large Ag implements/Tractors/Harvesters.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect, Cold Call and contact new and current customers
- Reach agreed upon sales volume targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
- Create sales material to present to customers
- Support Inside Sales Staff as needed During Vacation/Sick Leave.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, in the Equipment Market
- A current book of business for similar sales is a plus but not a deal breaker
- Strong Community ties to the sales territory
- Familiarity with CRM and POS platforms
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Not easily discouraged at sales rejections
- Able to complete finance transactions such as lease and retail contracts
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- CDL is a plus, DOT Medical card is a must. We pay for the Med Card Dr. Visit. Will pay for CDL test (not training)
- Ability to complete the sales process from start to finish. Sell, Prepare, Finance, Delivery and instruction to end customer.

This isn't a rookie position. We are not interested in training someone fresh to the workforce to be an effective equipment salesman over a couple of years. Only focused and proven salespeople need to apply.
