Administrative Assistant
Shoemaker Financial is seeking a Sales and Client Services Assistant to support the business development efforts of our Advisors and the Firm. A successful candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently. This position is working predominately with one advisor.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
- Aid senior advisor(s) by handing a variety of administrative functions. Own projects from start to finish.
- Direct correspondence and provide service to clients through phone and e-mail
- Prepare materials for client meetings, seminars, and presentations
- Handle processing and follow-up on new business or service requests
- Handle clerical tasks to maximize productivity of the Advisor and the Firm
- Manage advisor(s) calendar and emails as directed
- Strive to improve the advisor’s practice management and the overall client experience
- Other duties as requested by management
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or AA degree
- 2 years’ experience in financial and/or insurance environment preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organized and able to manage/prioritize workload effectively
- Ability to assume responsibility, meet deadlines, and work independently with little or no supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Good at problem solving. Resourceful, creative, and results oriented.
- Excellent computer skills including expertise in Microsoft Office (including excel), Microsoft Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new or changing technologies.
