Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and taking to-go orders while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating assignments efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant policies, and special events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant, taking reservations, and taking to-go orders.
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with guest needs and maintaining a positive environment.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- A passion for providing excellent guest services and ensuring customer satisfaction is essential.

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
