What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Cashier position at Shokunin?

Shokunin is looking for a friendly Restaurant Server/Cashier to join the omakase team! This is an entry-level position with no experience required, although preferred. If you are interested in starting a career in hospitality, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you will be the face of our restaurant by providing excellent customer service and being able to provide high-quality dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Issuing bills and accepting payments
- Explain to guests about menu items
- Clean and prepare the dining areas
- Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- All Servers will need to obtain both valid San Bernardino Food handlers card and RBS certification within 30 days of hire date
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
