What are the responsibilities and job description for the Online License to Carry Instructor position at Shoot Smart?

The Job: Aid in the delivery of online LTC (License To Carry) Training courses for Shoot Smart customers in accordance with the requirements of Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Administrative Code Chapter 6, Subchapter E. The position is part-time and commission-based, and duties may include optional in-person instructional delivery in addition to online instruction. Shooting qualifications are conducted at Shoot Smart ranges. Candidates may be eligible for additional training sales commissions, such as USCCA referral fees.
Requirements for the position include:
- Certification by the Texas Department of Public Safety as an online course provider.
- Proficient at educational delivery.
- Experience managing the required student paperwork.
- Certification as a Texas LTC instructor.
Duties: Prepare to conduct training in accordance with the Shoot Smart lesson plan. Conduct LTC training for Shoot Smart as scheduled; maintain satisfactory schedule availability for classes. Complete follow-up paperwork and processing requirements as required by the state of Texas.
