Job Overview: Shooters Waterfront is seeking exceptional candidates to join our service team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, and upbeat candidates who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.
Reports to: Dining Room Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)
Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a high-volume atmosphere. Must be able to present themselves in a professional manner and anticipate guests' needs. Familiarize themselves with the menu and or specials to make recommendations and answer questions. Work with fellow teammates (i.e., bussers, bartenders, captains, runners, chefs) to ensure all of the guest's needs are met in a timely manner. Remain positive and friendly when responding to customer complaints or issues. Assist with opening and closing duties such as prepping tables, and dining areas, and ensuring items are stocked. Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking guidelines are met. Adhere to the dress code, appearance, and grooming standards specified by management. Ability to lift and move multiple tables chairs and podiums weighing up to 50 lbs. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items, and safety hazards to management. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications/Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Candidates must be available to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and or holidays. Liquor, beer, and wine knowledge is a must. Must possess reliable transportation. Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
