DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides exceptional, STAR Service to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Performs the steps of STAR Service, which include :
o Smile and Greet
o Take Care of Needs
o Anticipate, Ask and Act
o Remember to Thank and Close
Performs the position-specific STAR service expectations, as outlined by the department.Processes high volume of currency, comps, coupons, credit cards and gift certificates to meet the guests' needs.
Accounts for shortages or overages.Counts and exchanges currency and coins.Processes transfers to vault at end of shift.Operates point of sale equipment.Converts currency and change accurately to process guest's transactions.
Maintains and understands various promotions to use each month.Process credit cards.Verify checks.Ensures proper cash handling procedures are followed at all timesChecks ID for all transactionsProvide a positive attitude while preparing food orders and to maintain a sanitary and clean work environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
No minimum education or experience required. One month of related experience preferred.

Must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Tribal State Compact for gaming.
