About the role...
ShopMy is seeking a Director of Learning & Development to build and scale our learning initiatives as we grow. This role will be responsible for developing a best-in-class L&D function that supports employee growth, enhances leadership development, and fosters a culture of continuous learning across the organization.
As a key member of the People team, you'll work closely with our executive team to create learning strategies that empower employees at all levels. You'll have the opportunity to shape how we invest in our teammates, ensuring that our team has the tools, knowledge, and resources to thrive at ShopMy. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for fostering elite performance and culture, and a proven ability to build impactful programming for full distributed work forces through a data driven lens.
Roles and Responsibilities...
- Ideate, build and launch ShopMy's comprehensive L&D strategy, aligned with organizational goals and growth trajectory
- Design and deliver impactful learning programs across all levels, with a focus on both technical skills and leadership development
- Establish clear KPIs and track the effectiveness of learning initiatives, continuously refining programs based on data and feedback
- Develop leadership development programs to cultivate a strong internal pipeline for future company leaders
- Partner with our executive team to align learning initiatives with broader company goals, employee performance, and retention strategies
- Enhance and evolve our onboarding program to ensure ShopMy is prepped for scale
- Identify and implement scalable learning tools (e.g., LMS, virtual learning environments) to streamline training delivery and accessibility.
- Act as a thought leader and coach to managers, empowering them to develop their teams effectively
