We are looking for an EXPERIENCED SUPERMARKET MEAT MANAGER to add to our team. Qualified manager candidates exhibit our company values of integrity, self-realization, family, service, enjoyment and sustainability. A qualified candidate has experience managing and maintaining all requirements in a supermarket Meat department, such as: compliance with food safety standards and food allergen practices; high volume meat butchering, merchandising, and selling; experience ordering and keeping accurate inventory; managing department shrink; and properly managing a staff up to 5 associates. The Meat Manager candidate must have MEAT CUTTING EXPERIENCE. The Meat Manager position is hourly, Full Time and is 40-48 hours per week.
Additional requirements:
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, squat, push, pull, and regularly lift & carry 50 lbs
-Outstanding customer service
-Available 5am-midnight, daily
-Weekend availability required
-Strong leadership skills
-Must be able to work within cold department environment and in store freezers
-Must be able to safely handle all raw meat products
-Must be an EXPERIENCED MEAT CUTTER
-Must be knowledgeable on all types and cuts of major types of meat
-Must be able to answer customer questions about types, sources and preparation of all products in the Meat department
-Must be comfortable with utilizing hand-held and computer technology and capable of thoroughly analyzing data

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
