Joseph Family Markets a local family-owned company that operates as the ShopRite of Canton. And, we are in search of the newest member of our Prepared Foods (Hot Foods) team that fits our company culture!
The position consists of working hands-on preparing food and stocking chef-made meals for our customers: rotisserie chicken, side dishes, soup, sandwiches, and much more. The position is PART TIME, providing a definite 15 hours a week, ranging up to 30 hours per week. Food handling experience required. Paid training!
The position requirements:
* At least 18 years of age
* Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, squat, push, and pull
* Must be able to regularly lift & carry 25 lb boxes of product and lift skewed rotisserie poles
* Must be able to work within store coolers, freezers, in and out of cold temperatures
* Must be able to work with and around ovens and heating equipment
* Must be able to handle all products and cleaning agents in the department
* Must be able to read English and have basic math skills
* Must be able to work well independently
* Outstanding customer service is a definite
* Must be available weekends
