SHOPRITE SUPERMARKET ASSET PROTECTION/ STORE DETECTIVE
Joseph Family Markets a local family-owned company that operates as the ShopRite of Canton. And, we are in search of a loss prevention leader, a store ASSET PROTECTION STORE DETECTIVE.
The position consists of delivering a great customer experience while ensuring the safety of all company assets. A Store Detective will be responsible for detecting theft and loss through direct observation, CCTV surveillance, and utilizing software reporting programs. A Store Detective will be responsible for apprehending shoplifters following proper protocol while establishing a safe environment for our associates, customers, vendors, and community.
The position is hourly, full time, and is 40-48 hours per week. RETAIL ASSET PROTECTION/STORE DETECTIVE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
The position requirements:
* Retail Asset Protection/Loss Prevention/Store Detective Experience REQUIRED
* Shoplifting apprehension experience REQUIRED
* At least 18 years of age
* Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, squat, push, and pull
* Must be able to regularly lift & carry 25-50lbs
* Must be able to handle all products, including food allergens
* Must be able to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze and interpret the English language
* Must have basic math skills
* Must be able to work in varying temperatures
* Must be able to work well independently
* Must be available to work weekends as needed
* Must be able to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
