SRS is seeking to fill a full -time store position in our ShopRite Supermarket locations in Elmsford, New York. Position available is Assistant Store Manager.
Pay Range $25.00-$45.00 per hour
Overview of Responsibilities
· Responsibilities are specific to the various departments and position.
· Greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance, while promoting a friendly and favorable store image to customers.
· Answer the phone promptly and in a professional manner to provide customer service.
· Dress according to company policy to include; uniform and name badge (including but not limited to: hair net, hat, hair restraint and beard guard).
· Adhere to the posted attendance schedule and work shifts as per applicable collective bargaining agreement.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Ability read, write and speak English.
· Ability to perform basic Math Skills.
· Ability to walk, talk, listen, see, sit, stand, touch, climb, lift, bend, stretch, push and pull wheeled equipment loaded with product.
· Ability to operate machinery specific to position.
· Ability to work in varying temperatures
· Frequently lift or move product, supplies, equipment up to 50 pounds to various heights in locations throughout the store facilities.
· Occasionally lift or move product, supplies, equipment greater than 50 pounds as a team lift.
