What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Technical Support Representative position at ShopSabre?
ShopSabre has an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Technical Support Advisor who has an enthusiasm for solving mechanical and technical problems and excels at providing excellent customer service. During a normal work day you will be answering phone calls and emails from customers who may need your assistance in troubleshooting their CNC equipment, understanding their software, or working through a specific project. Normal office work week would be Monday through Friday 8 am to 5pm CST with occasional required overtime. Ideal candidates should be described as computer “Savvy” and should be familiar with Outlook, Word, Excel and other Microsoft/Windows based products. Ideal candidates also should have knowledge of AC and DC circuits and have a strong understanding of electrical diagrams and schematics. Candidates should also have general mechanical skills and experience with basic hand tools. This position is a fully onsite role at our facility in Lakeville.
Minimum Requirements:
· Knowledge of basic hand tools and how to properly use them.
· Basic mechanical ability and knowledge.
· Must have the ability to adapt to an ever changing and fast paced environment.
· Good problem-solving skills
· Great communication and active listening skills.
· High attention to detail
· Excellent customer service skills
Ideal Qualifications
· Knowledge of computer parts, assembly, operation, and how to load software in a windows environment.
· Basic understanding of AC and DC circuits.
· Previous CNC machine operations (preferred)
· Previous experience troubleshooting CNC machines (preferred)
· Previous call center experience with over the phone troubleshooting
· Ability to read wiring diagrams and other technical documents
· Spanish speaking a plus, but not required
· Open to the possibility of periodic travel (preferred)
· Current passport a plus
