Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Activities Aide for residents who suffer from alzheimer's and dementia to join our team Monday-Friday 7am-3pm. The ideal candidate will interact with the residents to provide support and compassion to make a meaningful impact to brighten their day.
Responsibilites
- Run the assigned activities programs on a daily basis, monitor residents at all times.
- Monitor behavior during daily activites and communicate to nursing as needed.
- Cleans up after each activity, leaving the room clean and neat.
- Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
- Invites and encourages all residents to attend programs as appropriate.
- Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required.
- Assists the Activities Director in the planning, development and implementation of resident activities.
