We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our team. The Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with patients regarding their recommended dental treatment plans, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and coordinating financial arrangements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients regarding their recommended dental treatment plans and explain treatment options in a clear and concise manner
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients to ensure they attend their appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations for treatment as necessary
- Coordinate financial arrangements with patients, including discussing fees, payment options, and financial arrangements
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans in the practice management software
- Follow up with patients after treatment to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Assist with front office tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients, and managing patient files
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office or healthcare setting required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, and treatment planning preferred
- Proficient in using practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite
