What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerk, Shipping & Receiving position at Shore Medical Center?
Position Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the receiving, shipping, and distribution of hospital supplies and equipment. This position is attentive to detail, accurately and efficiently receives and documents, manually or via computerized inventory system, goods coming into the institution. This position copes with frequent interruptions and distractions while performing job duties. Works as a team member with other shipper / receiver.
Minimum Requirements
2 years of experience in Shipping and Receiving
Knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain Management
Intermediate computer knowledge, ability to process paperwork, and keep an accurate inventory
Valid NJ driver's license required
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to freight / stock, walk, and stand for extended periods of time
