Position Summary

Our hospital relies on skilled Operating Engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical and electrical systems. If you have a passion for troubleshooting, maintenance, and emergency power operations, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high pressure boilers, hot water boilers, chillers, building automation systems, and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot current and potential problems with these systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and operate hospital emergency power equipment and associated distribution systems.

Requirements

• Black Seal High Pressure Engineer's License.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Computer proficiency, with excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical strength to lift heavy objects, carts, or items frequently.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Blue Seal High Pressure In-Charge License.
• Graduate of a Vocational/Technical school.
