**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Employee Health Services team at Shore Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, administering health programs, and promoting wellness in the workplace.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Obtain and verify employee health history, gathering pertinent health data to support informed decision-making.
- Perform drug testing, administer vaccinations, and conduct Fit testing to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards.
- Document interventions, patient responses, medications, and test results in medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice, and instructions to support employee health and wellbeing.
- Promptly and courteously handle patient inquiries regarding medical information, following practice triage protocols.
**Requirements:**
- Valid New Jersey State LPN license
- BLS Certification
- Ability to perform dosage calculations and basic laboratory procedures
- Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, regulations, policies, and functions, as well as an understanding of documentation standards
