Job Summary
To assist in the operation and related functions of fluoroscopic and digital equipment in the IR/Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Circulates and monitors during IR/Cardiac Catheterization procedures Assists in preparing the laboratory prior to and during the procedure. Includes assisting the Cardiologist, Radiologist and/or nurse during the procedure by circulating in the lab and providing them with catheters, instruments, or special items needed during the procedure. Maintains sterility of the field and lab, consistently produces high quality images while ensuring these images are properly transferred to archive server.
Minimum Requirements
• ARRT Certification and NJ DEP license
• 10 years’ experience in IR/Cardiac Cath
• CI or CVI Certification
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
• Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skill
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull
