About Us: Shore Point Recovery is a dedicated facility focused on providing compassionate and effective care for individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring disorders. With a 25-bed capacity, we offer both detoxification and inpatient rehabilitation services, creating a supportive and structured environment for our patients. Our mission is to guide individuals toward recovery and equip them with the tools needed for lifelong health and sobriety.
Position Summary: The Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all daily operations and ensuring the highest quality of operational efficiency for patients. This individual will lead a team of Recovery Specialists, ensure compliance to policy and procedure and environment of care standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction treatment and operations, exceptional management skills, and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to Executive Clinical Director
- Ensure Environment of Care (facility) is up to code(s) and standard(s) at all times
- Oversee staff training and development to maintain a highly skilled team
- Collaborate with Clinical and Nursing staff to maintain standard of patient care
- Address and resolve patient care issues promptly and professionally
- Accountable for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organizations mission, vision and values
- Oversee day-to-day operations for all assigned departments
- Monitor workflow, timeliness, and quality of deliverables of Recovery Specialists
- Ensure quality management standards of appropriate departments
- Coordinate appropriate staffing/scheduling for all assigned departments
- Maintain appropriate employee documentation such as 3-month and annual performance reviews, disciplinary action documentation, incident reporting and other documentation as assigned by Executive Clinical Director
- Provide direct operational support and oversight to Recovery Specialists
- Hire and train appropriate staff in company policy and procedure
- Analyze current processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
- Oversee client and employee safety when a hazardous condition exists and there is inadequate time to convene a staff meeting and/or receive Executive Clinical Director or medical staff consultation and approval
- Foster a positive workplace culture and ensure staff satisfaction
- Monitor the quality of patient care and ensure a high standard of service
- Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve patient care challenges
- Schedule, coordinate and facilitate patient transportation
- Oversee transportation staff to ensure compliance with facility protocol as well as all local and federal traffic laws
- Ensure quality and maintenance of all fleet vehicles
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Clinical Director
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the field of business, liberal arts or a related field deemed acceptable by the Governing Authority
- At least 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience in managing a residential treatment facility
- Proficiency in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
