Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Loan Portfolio Specialist I to join our team. The Loan Portfolio Specialist provides administrative support to sales team in various aspects of the loan/relationship onboarding process. This position also serves as a point of contact for commercial loan customers by providing a high level of service in response to questions, requests, or concerns.

Essential Functions Include
- Organizes the Relationship Manager’s work environment and schedules appointments as necessary.
- Maintains customer financial files, specifically collection of annual required financials, with minimal exceptions.
- Submits financial requests, tracks and documents follow up calls for collection of information.
- Mails/emails renewal commitment letters, tracks disbursement of letters and documents follow up calls for collection of renewal letter and fee collection.
- Assists with coordination of annual loan reviews and renewals, which should be completed and booked prior to the maturity date.
- Addresses customer needs as appropriate.
- Assists in the preparation of credit memos and facilitates communication between underwriter, relationship manager/portfolio manager and client for new requests and annual renewals.
- Work with the branch and commercial services team to ensure new account and treasury management documentation is collected and saved.
- Manages opportunities in our CRM (nCino) for the sales staff.
- In coordination with the Loan Support Specialist, assist with coordinating loan closings and collecting due diligence reports and loan closing checklist items.

- Input and assists with coordination of annual loan reviews and renewals.

- Input and assists in the preparation of loan request summaries and facilitates communication between underwriter, loan officer and client for new requests and annual renewals.
- Assists with memo preparation for financial and document exception reporting.
- In conjunction with underwriters and Loan processors, track production logs, and pipeline reports for Commercial Relationship Managers. Update the loan database with loans that are in process on a weekly basis.
- Support Branch staff and Business Banking Relationship Managers with customer lending needs, concerns and questions.
- Tracks production logs, referral logs, and pipeline reports for each RM in nCino. Updates nCino with any loans that are in process on a weekly basis.
- Supports branch staff with lending needs, concerns, and questions.
- Provides excellent customer service to clients by keeping them abreast of the status of their loans and responding to their questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Completes required regulatory training on or before the deadlines assigned by HR/Training and/or supervisor.
- Performs other tasks as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

- Full-time.
- Non-exempt.
- Days of Work: Monday-Friday.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in commercial banking.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
- The pay range for this position is $24.00 to $28.00 hourly.
- Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
