Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Description

Position Title: Mobile Phlebotomist PT/FT up to 30 hours a week.

You may start part-time, working up to 30 hours a week, with the possibility of eventually moving to a full-time schedule.

Location: Riverside- San Bernardino

Schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional overtime and possible weekends

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for a variety of tests, including drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol testing, and more.
• Accurately input patient and specimen data into the system in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and assist with payment collection when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
• Maintain up-to-date patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed, including data entry and filing.
• Travel to additional sites as required to meet patient needs.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Previous phlebotomy experience in skilled nursing facility is highly preferred
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must
• Valid California Phlebotomy License or current application on file with the California Department of Health at time of hire
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage patient data accurately
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable
• Ability to work flexibly and handle overtime when necessary
• Successful completion of a standardized color blindness test
