What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Food Runner position at Shoreline Diner?
Seeking a motivated, hardworking individual that can work quickly and efficiently in a high volume restaurant. Must be organized, detail oriented, and work well as part of a team. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Greeting & seating guests
- Handling cash & credit card transactions
- Answering phones & accurately inputting to go orders
- Clearing, Cleaning and resetting tables
- Maintaining restaurant cleanliness
- Assisting service staff with pre-bussing and food running
- Restocking supplies as needed
Must be able to:
- Walk & stand for entire shift
- Lift heavy items up to 35lbs
- Walk up and down stairs several times during a shift
